  3.       Sierra's KING'S QUEST IV  --  'BUSTED' 10/10/1988 by PIRATES-R-US

  6.   KING'S QUEST IV is the brainchild of Sierra'a own Roberta (do they REALLY
  7. call her Bobalu???) Williams, and features stunning graphics and MIDI sound-
  8. support!  Except for the 'Enter_A_Word_To_Play' scenero, which is really trite,
  9. the rest of the game merits a full 5 stars!!!
  10.  
  11.   So, what we need to 'perfect' the game is a simple patch to eliminate the
  12. 'Enter_A_Word_To_Play' screen from the game completely...  The companion batch
  13. file, developed here at PIRATES-R-US, does just that!  One simple word of
  14. caution is, as always, be sure to run it on a backup copy just in case Sierra
  15. releases differing versions of the software...  (For your information, the only
  16. file that is affected is "SIERRA.EXE")
  17.  
  18.   To proceed, insure you have the file "SIERRA.EXE" in the current directory
  19. and a path to "DEBUG.COM", then run the batch file:

  21.                                  "FIX-KQ4.BAT"
  22.  
  23.   That's all there is to it...  The manual is never needed again!  If only
  24. all 'busts' could be so simple and work so well...
